PINAL GILA Community Child Services in Arizona is seeking a Home Base Teacher to partner with families in their homes, delivering Head Start-aligned services and curriculum. The role emphasizes cultural responsiveness, family advocacy, and collaboration with Education, Health, Nutrition, and Disability teams to support children ages 0-5.

Responsibilities include home-based learning experiences, ongoing assessment, individualized goals, and referrals to community resources, while maintaining

Competenze

• Home visitation CDA or AA degree in social work or related field required.
• BA degree preferred.
• One year experience in Early Care & Education, Social Services, Education, Home Visitation, or Health Care.

• Delivers direct services to families with children ages 0-5 and expectant families within home base.
• Remains knowledgeable of Head Start standards related to home-based services.
• Partners with Education, Health, Nutrition, Disability, Family and community partners.
• Promotes healthy parent-child relationships by recognizing parenting within supportive relationships.
• Plans and carries out home-based learning experiences and supports children with disabilities and dual language learners.
• Works with parents to develop and implement educational programs, including ongoing assessment, IEP/IFSP goals.
• Maintains confidentiality and represents the agency professionally.
