Qualifikationen

• Requires Associate degree in ECE or related field with coursework in ECE; Baccalaureate preferred.
• Master Teacher must be at least 18 years old.
• Two years preschool classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Two years Head Start teaching preferred.
• Arizona Driver's License, proof of insurance, fingerprint card, Social Security card, CPR/First Aid, food handler if required, vehicle for program business.
• Travel throughout Pinal and Gila counties daily using personal vehicle; mileage reimbursed.
• Health Questionnaire required at hire and updated every 3 years.
• Immunizations or approved exemption on file.
• Intermediate to advanced computer, internet and e-mail skills.
• Must speak/read/write/understand English; bilingual English/Spanish desirable.
• Food Handler's Card within 30 days of hire.

• Substitutes in various classrooms at various locations; implements Center Base curricula.
• Provides a safe environment and teaches safe practices to prevent injuries.
• Teaches nutrition and health practices.
• Organizes space, routines, and interactions for safe, engaging learning for all children.
• Implements developmentally appropriate curriculum and experiences.
• Promotes learning in language, literacy, mathematics, science, tech, social studies, and arts.
• Implements Emotional Support Curriculum to help regulate emotions and relationships.
• Supports dual-language learners in English and home language.
• Maintains warm, positive, responsive approach to each child and supports identity.
• Communicates with staff, parents, and diverse communities.
• Uses observation and planning to support development and individualized planning.
• Makes decisions based on research-based early childhood practices; promotes high-quality services.
• Uses reflective practice to improve teaching staff and children outcomes.
• Proficient in Child Ongoing Assessment for Preschool and Early Head Start.
• Travels as needed throughout PGCCS Head Start service area.
• Proficient in utilizing various virtual platforms for communication and collaboration.
