Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with I/DD in Julian, PA. The role offers full-time and part-time hours with a $1,000 signing bonus. DSPs provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities, helping them live safely and independently.

Responsibilities include skill development, recreational activities, documentation, and training. Must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Physical ability to assist with lifting or transfers if needed.
• One year of caregiving experience preferred (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in clients' homes and communities.
• Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development.
• Assist with recreational and community activities.
• Follow treatment plans and document progress.
• Provide companionship and respite care.
• Submit documentation and payroll on time.
• Participate in ongoing training.
• Assist with personal care needs as required.
• Work independently in home and community settings.
