Abound Health is hiring compassionate Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with I/DD in Aaronsburg, PA. This role provides one-on-one support in clients' homes and communities, helping them live safely, independently, and with dignity.

Full-time and part-time hours are available. The position offers a $1,000 signing bonus and pay ranges from $17.00 to $25.00 per hour, with benefits including medical/dental/life insurance and a 401(k) based on hours worked, plus

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Valid driver's license and active car insurance.
• Able to support personal-care and behavioral needs.
• Minimum age 18 and a high school diploma.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Physical ability to assist with lifting or transfers.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in clients' homes and communities.
• Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development.
• Assist with recreational and community activities.
• Follow treatment plans and document progress.
• Provide companionship and respite care.
• Submit documentation and payroll on time.
• Participate in ongoing training.
• Assist with personal care needs as required.
• Work independently in home and community settings.
