Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities in Julian, PA. This role helps individuals live safely, independently, and with dignity, and offers flexible hours with opportunities to develop behavioral and social skills.

The position includes a $1,000 signing bonus, weekly pay, and benefits based on hours worked. Previous caregiving is preferred but training is provided, and candidates must be 18+ with a

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying personal-care and behavioral-support needs
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background checks
• Physical ability to assist with lifting or transfers if needed

Responsibilities

• Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development
• Assist with recreational and community activities
• Follow treatment plans and document progress
• Provide companionship and respite care
• Submit documentation and payroll on time
• Participate in ongoing training
• Assist with personal care needs as required
