Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning seeks a Child Care Services (CCS) Intake Consultant to review and monitor CCS intake policies and procedures regarding health and safety allegations.

The role involves handling inquiries from providers and the public, gathering information, and ensuring compliance. The position is home-based with some travel to the Atlanta Office, offering a base salary of $48,880 and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and two years of job-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for some positions.

Responsibilities

• Receive questions from providers, families, and partners via phone, email, fax, or in person.
• Ensure intakes are complete by gathering information from reporters and colleagues.
• Vet reports of potential rule violations according to policies and procedures.
• Enter complaint intakes for investigation and provide information to callers.
• Deliver excellent customer service to external and internal customers.
• Obtain additional information to ensure complete intakes and proper referrals.
• Determine whether programs are licensed or exempt and refer for follow-up.
• Demonstrate knowledge of state rules and regulations.

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
