Job summary

The State of Georgia, Department of Early Care and Learning, is seeking a remote Intake Consultant in the CCS program. Based at home with occasional travel to the Atlanta office, you will review health and safety intake reports and ensure compliance with CCS policies and procedures.

You will handle inquiries from providers and the public, gather necessary information, and route cases for investigation while delivering excellent service and maintaining thorough documentation in line with state

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED and two years of job-related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with two years of experience preferred.
  • Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive questions and concerns from providers, families, partner state agencies and the public via phone, email, fax, and in person.
  • Seek additional information from reporters, providers and co-workers to ensure intakes are complete.
  • Ensure that all reports of potential rule violations are properly vetted according to established policies and procedures.
  • Answer questions, provide information and enter complaint intakes to be investigated by the Department as appropriate based on the circumstances of each situation.
  • Provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers.
