Job summary

Monarch Communities in Moorestown Township, NJ, is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents with a focus on holistic wellness. The Wellness Nurse reports to the Health and Wellness Director and will supervise care staff and ensure compliant nursing practices.

The role offers a flexible part-time schedule (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or 11pm-7am) with every other weekend, along with benefits for part-time staff.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with current LPN license.
At least 2 years’ experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting preferred.
Experience working with residents with Alzheimer’s or other dementias.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Knowledge of federal and state regulations, and of nursing practices and methods.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with ability to learn new applications.
LPN is expected to physically assist and lift residents (up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

Monitors the health, safety, and well-being of all residents.
Assists in training and monitoring of medication administration.
Supervise care staff in accordance with current state regulations and community policies.
Maintains clinical quality assurance in accordance with federal, state and local standards.
Promotes the highest degree of service to our residents while leading and demonstrating the mission of the company.
Conducts thorough resident assessments.
