Monarch Communities in Brick Township, NJ is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for part-time with per-diem shifts under the supervision of the Health and Wellness Director. The role provides direct nursing care with an emphasis on holistic wellness and includes supervising care staff.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a current LPN license and 2+ years in long-term care or related settings. Proficiency in basic computer applications is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with current LPN license.
• 2+ years’ experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting preferred.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer’s or dementias encouraged.
• Knowledge of applicable federal/state nursing regulations and practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents’ health, safety, and well-being.
• Assist in training and monitoring medication administration.
• Supervise care staff per state regulations and community policies.
• Maintain clinical quality assurance per standards.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments.
