Monarch Communities® in Toms River, NJ is seeking a part-time or Per-Diem Wellness Nurse (LPN) to deliver holistic care to residents under the guidance of a Health and Wellness Director. Responsibilities include monitoring resident health, supervising care staff, and maintaining clinical quality. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, with current LPN license.
• At least 2 years’ experience with long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting preferred.
• Experience working with residents with Alzheimer’s or other related dementias.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the health, safety, and well-being of all residents.
• Assisting in training and monitoring of medication administration.
• Supervise care staff in accordance with current state regulations.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments.

Skills

Long-term care experience

Knowledge of nursing practices

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Ability to handle multiple tasks

Education

Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
