Job summary

LifeWorks Wellness Center is seeking a doctorally-prepared Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team in a dedicated follow-up and maintenance care role. This position ensures active treatment patients continue to receive high-quality follow-up care — chemo testing, lab reviews, rechecks, and annual/maintenance visits — as patient volume grows.

Qualifications

• Florida APRN license, board certification, and BLS certification are required.
• Doctoral degree (PhD or DNP) required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum of 3 years in alternative/holistic medicine preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage follow-up, recheck, lab review, and annual/maintenance visits for established patients.
• Conduct chemo testing follow-ups and standard follow-up visits per protocol.
• Track patient progress and adjust care with the supervising physician.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR.
• Maintain communication with physicians and staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Escalate complex cases to supervising physicians as needed.
• Support development of clinical protocols for follow-up and maintenance care.
