Community Care of West Virginia Inc. seeks a Nurse Practitioner for ambulatory care, under the medical operations director. You will examine, diagnose, and treat chronic and acute illnesses, perform labs, prescribe medications, and support office procedures within scope and protocols.

Must be a licensed RN in the state with NP training; a graduate degree is required and a master's is preferred. Strong clinical judgment and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program.
• Currently approved by joint Board of Medical Examiners and Board of Nursing to perform medical acts.
• Must be licensed as a registered nurse in the state.
• Master's degree preferred for enhanced roles.
• Minimum of one year experience in related nursing positions is preferred.

Responsabilités

• See ambulatory patients for examination, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
• Review patient records to determine health status.
• Take patient history and perform physical examinations.
• Perform screenings and routine laboratory testing; initiate referrals as needed.
• Assist in surgical procedures and schedule follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist in billing processes.
