Job summary

The Pearl at East Cobb is seeking Cooks to join their team. The Cook reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director, with a Mon-Fri schedule and every other weekend required.

The Cook will handle all food preparation to meet quality and service standards, maintain sanitary conditions, and follow safety regulations. Education includes a high school diploma; SERV Safe certification is preferred and one year of related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred.
• One year of job-related experience including food preparation and therapeutic diets.
• Maintains a current SERV Safe certificate or can participate in training to become SERV Safe Certified.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and serving of meals according to menus and approved recipes.
• Maintain sanitary conditions of food service areas and ensure safety standards are met.
• Record keeping for service standards and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare dietary needs and texture-modified foods as directed.
• Follow all policies regarding food handling and temperatures.
