Job summary

The Pearl at East Cobb is seeking a Cook to join our team, reporting to the Food and Beverage Director. You will be responsible for all food preparation to meet quality and service standards, while maintaining sanitation and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include following menus, recording temperatures, and assisting with dietary needs. This is a full-time position with a Mon-Fri schedule and every other weekend requirement in Marietta, GA.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
• Culinary apprenticeship or training or equivalent.
• One (1) year job related experience including food preparation and therapeutic diets.
• Maintains SERV Safe certificate or able to obtain SERV Safe Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to posted menus and recipes.
• Maintain sanitary kitchen and service areas; ensure safety standards.
• Monitor temperatures and quality; ensure accurate record keeping.
• Rotate inventory and assist with dietary accommodations as directed.
• Clean work areas and sanitize dishes and equipment per policies.
