Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required.
• Three years of experience in academic advising or a related field.
• Additional education may substitute for required experience and vice versa per institution policy.

Responsibilities

• Advise a caseload of undergraduate and graduate students on academic planning, registration, and post-graduation planning.
• Monitor academic progress and standing, advise on policies, and provide early interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with Registrar, Financial Aid, Life Design, Student Life, and Residential Life to connect students with resources.
• Create and maintain accurate academic records and communicate deadlines for graduation.
• Conduct group advising sessions and participate in campus-wide working groups and committees.
