Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. seeks a Sales Associate to deliver a memorable shopping experience with expert product knowledge and the highest level of customer service.

You will support customers with gift services, registry needs, and special orders while achieving sales targets in a fast-paced specialty retail setting. You will also handle POS transactions, maintain captivating visual merchandising, and assist with stockroom organization.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service experience and retail sales experience, preferably in specialty retail
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to operate POS system and handle register transactions

Responsibilities

• Provide sincere, friendly, energetic customer service and meet sales goals
• Assist customers with services such as gift wrap, gift registry, orders, and special requests
• Demonstrate product knowledge and close sales with effective selling techniques
• Maintain visual merchandising, signage and lighting; keep stockroom tidy
• Process transactions, returns and exchanges accurately
• Comply with company policies and procedures; support team initiatives
