Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis during peak seasons. You will focus on sales, guest service, and maintaining a clean, organized storefront in a fast-paced gaming retail environment.

You must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior retail or guest service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting them with video gaming needs, recommending items, and thanking guests for choosing GameStop.
• Fully support the shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to ensure areas of the store are clean, organized, and merchandised according to guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure products are well-presented and alphabetized on the selling floor.
• Assist the team in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly, effectively, and courteously, and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and safety practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies, including attendance, confidentiality, and ethical responsibilities.
