Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak sales periods. You will deliver outstanding guest service, help with sales, stock, and store upkeep, and ensure a welcoming shopping environment.

You should be able to greet guests, recommend items, and work with the team to meet seasonal sales goals, while following store policies and safety practices. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, recommending items, and thanking guests.
• Fully support the shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and participate in store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise from stock room to selling floor and ensure products are well-presented.
• Assist the team in meeting/exceeding sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder as needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and safety procedures.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures including attendance and confidentiality.
