Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, seeks a Machine Operator 1 for onsite night shift (Sat.–Mon., 1800–0600) at the Middletown, PA site. Responsibilities include operating diverse production equipment, reading process sheets, deburring, gaging, and maintaining quality according to blueprints.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, U.S. citizenship, and prior manufacturing or operator experience preferred. RTX offers comprehensive benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• U.S. citizenship required for access to information under this program/contract.
• Experience in manufacturing or machine operation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of production machines and read/process sheets.
• Record labor in Solumina and perform preventative maintenance as directed.
• Document results and keep run charts with dimensional data.
• Keep the work area and equipment clean to maintain quality levels.
• Move about the machine line to operate equipment and handle products up to 10 lb.
• Follow ACE CORE and EH&S guidelines, using required PPE.
