Job summary

LGH GmbH in Carlstadt, NJ seeks a mechanically inclined individual to maintain rental hoisting and rigging equipment, ensuring its availability for safe use. You will inspect, disassemble, repair, and test various equipment and perform routine maintenance.

The role includes forklift operation and transporting equipment, with hours Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., full time. Starting pay is $23.50/hour, with potential increases and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical background or aptitude strongly preferred.
• Experience with air hoists, comealongs, manual hoists or other rigging equipment beneficial, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and conduct inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test electrical, hand-operated, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on rental equipment.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and move equipment within the warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles to transport rental orders safely and on time.
