Job summary

LGH is seeking a mechanically inclined individual in Charlotte, NC to maintain rental hoisting equipment and ensure immediate availability for safe use. You will inspect, repair, and test electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic gear, while performing routine maintenance and operating forklifts as part of daily tasks.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a mechanical background, tool experience, a valid driver's license, and DOT certification upon starting. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Mechanical background or aptitude strongly preferred.
DOT certification required upon commencement of employment; maintained thereafter.
Valid Driver's License with good driving record and ability to meet insurance guidelines.

Responsibilities

Prepare rental equipment orders and inspect for quality compliance.
Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test hoisting and rigging equipment.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on rental gear.
Operate forklift for loading/unloading and move equipment within warehouse.
Transport rental orders using company vehicles in a safe, timely manner.
