Job summary

LGH USA in Savage, MD seeks a mechanically inclined technician to maintain rental equipment and ensure its readiness for immediate safe use on site. You will inspect, repair, and test diverse equipment used in hoisting and rigging, ensuring reliability for customers.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, a mechanical background, and a valid driver's license; DOT certification is provided by LGH. The role involves forklift operation and occasional overtime, with a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical background or aptitude strongly preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with clean record; DOT certification required upon start (LGH pays) and CDL not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test electrical, hand operated, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on rental equipment.
• Operate forklift to load/unload delivery vehicles and move equipment within the warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles to transport rental orders safely and on time.
