Job summary

Lifting Gear Hire Corp in Norcross, GA is seeking a mechanically inclined individual to maintain rental equipment and ensure immediate availability for safe use. The role involves disassembly, repair, and testing of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and hand-operated gear, plus routine preventive maintenance.

You will operate a forklift, load transport, and drive company vehicles to deliver orders. Minimum education is a high school diploma, with hands-on tool experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background or aptitude strongly preferred.
• Hand and power tool experience desired.
• Experience with air hoists, comealongs, manual/electric hoists or similar rigging equipment is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and inspect for quality standards.
• Disassemble, repair, reassemble and test various equipment types (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on rental equipment.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and move equipment within the warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles to transport rental orders safely and on time.
