Job summary

Lifting-Gear-Hire-Corp in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a mechanically inclined team member to maintain rental equipment and ensure immediate availability for safe use.

You will disassemble, repair, inspect, and test diverse hoisting and rigging gear, perform preventative maintenance, and operate a forklift and company vehicles as part of daily duties. This full-time role offers benefits and room for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical background or aptitude strongly preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record; DOT certification required upon commencement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and conduct inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test electrical, hand operated, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on rental equipment.
• Operate forklift to load/unload delivery vehicles and move equipment within the warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles to transport rental orders safely and on time.
