Job summary

LGH GmbH in Troy, MI, is seeking a mechanically inclined maintenance technician to keep rental equipment in safe, ready-to-use condition. This role involves inspecting, disassembling, repairing, reassembling and testing hoisting and rigging gear, and performing preventative maintenance.

You will operate a forklift, load and unload deliveries, and transport orders as needed. A HS diploma and hands-on tool experience are required; DOT certification and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical background or aptitude strongly preferred.
• Experience with hand and power tools beneficial; rigging equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and inspections to meet quality standards.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on rental equipment.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and transport equipment within the warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles to transport rental orders safely and timely.
