Job summary

Donnelley Financial Solutions (DFIN) is seeking a Hoist Operator to support our warehouse and production operations in Lancaster. You will safely operate forklift and hoist equipment, move materials, and coordinate shipments with production and customer service teams.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalency and a Hoist Operation certification within 30 days; two years forklift experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
• Successful completion of Hoist Operation certification within 30 days.
• Two years of forklift or hoist operation experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift trucks and hoist equipment to move, stack, and transport materials.
• Perform yard jockeying tasks, including pulling trailers into docks.
• Complete daily safety checks on equipment and perform basic maintenance.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies in our inventory management system.
• Organize storage spaces and pick products according to detailed lists.
• Coordinate external shipments, including mail pickups and deliveries, with vendors.
• Communicate with internal and external partners to manage schedules and resolve issues.
• Count, weigh, and record material movements on daily tracking sheets.
• Keep production running smoothly with occasional team tasks or auxiliary assignments.
