Job summary

Donnelley Financial Solutions is seeking a Hoist Operator to join our warehouse team in a full-time role. You will safely operate forklifts and hoists to move materials, coordinate shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring a smooth flow of materials with production and customer service teams.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, hoist certification within 30 days, and 2 years of relevant forklift/hoist experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Successful completion of Hoist Operation certification within 30 days.
• 2 years of forklift or hoist operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift trucks and hoist equipment to move, stack, and transport materials.
• Perform yard jockeying tasks, including pulling trailers into docks.
• Complete daily safety checks on equipment and perform basic maintenance.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies in our inventory management system.
• Organize storage spaces and pick products according to detailed lists.
• Coordinate external shipments, including mail pickups and deliveries, with vendors.
• Communicate with internal and external partners to manage schedules and resolve issues.
• Count, weigh, and record material movements on daily tracking sheets.
• Keep production running smoothly with occasional team tasks or auxiliary assignments.
