Job summary

Accounting Transition Supervisor position in Irvine, CA, onsite. You will lead the transition team to ensure every new HOA account is set up with accurate financial records from day one, shaping procedures and controls. This hands-on leadership role offers a path to a permanent position.

Responsibilities include reviewing opening balances, bank records, and ACH processes, while coordinating with banks and management companies during mergers and account closures. Weekend hours are not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret association financial statements.
• Hands-on experience with HOA banking operations.
• Hands-on experience with HOA account transitions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and coach the transition team, prioritizing new account transitions to meet deadlines.
• Review and approve opening balances, balance forwards, and membership imports; resolve discrepancies before go-live.
• Oversee HOA banking setup for new associations, including accounts, signature cards, and ACH.
• Direct creation and auditing of daily and recurring ACH files, payments, and refunds.
• Collaborate with banks and other stakeholders on mergers and account closures; build procedures and controls.
