Job summary

HOATalent is hiring on behalf of Hales Property Management in Chicago, IL for a Community Association Manager. This in-person role for 6 months transitions to a hybrid schedule.

You will manage HOA/condo portfolios, attend boards, prepare reports, and oversee vendors, maintenance, and finances, ensuring adherence to governing documents and sound operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management, HOA management, or portfolio management experience.
• Experience working with homeowners, residents, or HOA Boards.
• Experience managing vendors, maintenance projects, and property operations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• HOA & Condo Portfolio Management.
• Attend Board meetings and guide sound decision-making.
• Prepare management reports and communications.
• Ensure associations operate in line with governing documents and rules.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and vendor services across properties.
• Manage capital improvement and construction projects from bid to completion.
• Monitor contracts and association expenditures.
• Build relationships with residents, boards, vendors, and internal teams.
