Job summary

Action Property Management in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a General Manager to lead daily operations of premier residential communities. You will foster strong relationships with homeowners, Board members, and on-site teams while aligning services with Action’s standards of integrity and excellence.

This is a primarily hybrid role with occasional on-site visits. You will manage budgets, oversee vendor contracts, review governing documents, prepare management reports, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of onsite HOA general management experience.
• Knowledge of budgets, auditing, reserve studies, bidding processes, and governing documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and follow up on issues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure team adherence to policies, procedures, and standards.
• Serve as liaison between the Board, homeowners, and Action Property Management.
• Attend Board meetings, prepare detailed management reports, and present recommendations.
• Oversee daily operations to maintain property quality, safety, and service.
• Develop and manage annual budgets; monitor performance and payments.
• Negotiate and evaluate vendor contracts for quality and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
• Promote community engagement through events and homeowner outreach.
• Drive long-term strategic planning and continuous improvement.
