Alterra Mountain Company in Steamboat Springs, CO seeks an HOA Accountant I year-round to handle AP, AR, journal entries, and monthly close. You will maintain owner records, prepare statements, and support inquiries from managers and owners.

Two years of accounting exposure with a one-year certificate, strong Excel/Outlook skills, and basic US GAAP knowledge are required. The role includes benefits such as passes, insurance, 401(k) match, and tuition discounts.

Qualifications

• Has basic knowledge and understanding of US GAAP.
• One-year certificate or equivalent accounting experience.
• Strong English communication and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• AP, AR, journal entries, and monthly closing tasks.
• Prepare budget shells and enter budget information in the system.
• Maintain owner records and prepare monthly owner statements.
• Reconcile bank statements; assist with inquiries and reports.
