Job summary

University of Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking an HMIS Support Specialist within the CCFL Community Services Team. The role ensures HMIS functionality, reliability, and compliance across NHAP and multiple CoCs.

You will support data entry, training, and user assistance to meet program requirements. Under the HMIS Senior Manager, you will handle system support, coordinated entry tasks, and training support, escalating complex issues when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus one year HMIS experience or equivalent
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and external partners
• Attention to detail with handling confidential information

Responsibilities

• Provide HMIS system support, ensuring reliability and proper use across NHAP, Lincoln CoC, and State CoC
• Assist with Coordinated Entry activities, referrals, community queues and related reporting
• Assist with Moodle-based training and onboarding for HMIS users
• Review data for accuracy and compliance and escalate complex issues as needed
