Job summary

MercyOne Dubuque is seeking a Representative Customer Service Representative HME to manage Home Medical Equipment referrals, verify insurance, and enter patient data into the Brightree system. You will coordinate delivery/pickup and financial responsibility while addressing inquiries with professional service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years in customer service or office work is preferred, with a background in medical equipment or related health fields

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service and/or office area preferred.
• Prefer background in home medical equipment or other related medical/health field.

Responsibilities

• Handles all processes related to HME referrals including obtaining patient and prescription information, verifying insurance benefits, and documenting in Brightree.
• Coordinates delivery/pickup arrangements and financial responsibility; responds to inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
