Job summary

First Western Bank & Trust is seeking an HMDA Specialist to document and track Bank information for HMDA compliance. The role ensures accurate HMDA worksheets and loan files, supporting procedural development within lending operations and maintaining regulatory standards.

The candidate will coordinate HMDA reporting, review lending denials for HMDA, and contribute to consumer lending tracking and reporting while staying current with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and/or financial industry experience.
• Experience in lending and/or HMDA policy and procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating and supporting the bank’s HMDA reporting and documentation processes
• Ensure HMDA data collection is accurate and complete; loan documentation is accurate and compliant, ensuring that all applicable regulations are met
• Assist in the development and maintenance of lending procedures and resources
• Assist in the review and coordinating of bank’s lending denial process; ensure appropriate denials are recorded for HMDA reporting
• Assist in various consumer lending tracking and reporting
• Ensure compliance with banking laws, regulations, and the Bank’s policies and procedures, including the Bank Secrecy Act
• Maintain continuing education related to regulatory standards
