Job summary

Nevada Donor Network, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor of HLA Laboratories to provide overall oversight of daily laboratory operations, lead test development and implementation, and train technologists in HLA testing.

The role includes ensuring performance, analysis and reporting meet standards for quality and regulatory requirements. The candidate will collaborate with the HLA Director to update procedures, evaluate new tests, and participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in laboratory science is required.
Six years of full-time laboratory experience, with at least five years in HLA testing.
Previous leadership experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.

Responsibilities

Oversees day-to-day performance, analysis and reporting of HLA testing.
Identifies and resolves operational and technical problems in the HLA Lab.
Evaluates new equipment, supplies and reagents and implements their use.
Develops protocols for technical training and evaluates competency for testing personnel.
Leads special projects and coordinates proficiency testing exercises.
Maintains documentation, QC/QA records, and adherence to regulatory standards.
