Job summary

Georgia Department of Public Health in Cobb and Douglas Counties seeks a Linkage Coordinator for HIV Services to promote and protect the health and safety of residents. This grant-funded role focuses on HIV testing, linkage to medical care, retention, and re-engagement in care and support services.

The position conducts HIV testing, counseling, and outreach, implements ARTAS, and coordinates referrals across HIV care, STI and hepatitis services, TB screening, mental health, and substance use

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of job-related experience or two years at SSP030 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Implement ARTAS strategy for newly diagnosed or lost to care individuals.
• Coordinate timely linkage, referrals, and follow-up for HIV care, STI and hepatitis services, TB screening, mental health, and other services.
• Promote routine HIV testing and HIV self-testing in healthcare and community settings.
