Job summary

Access to Healthcare Network in Reno seeks a HIV Benefits Coordinator who is bilingual in Spanish and English. You will help clients enroll in health insurance plans, review benefits, and coordinate with providers while upholding HIPAA and professional ethics.

This role requires organized, detail‑oriented individuals able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. You’ll handle billing, eligibility messaging, and maintain records using Access databases and standard office software.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; AA preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in healthcare, social or patient services; medical billing/benefits experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of office experience (data entry, filing, admin tasks).
• 2+ years with databases/software including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist eligible clients with enrollment in health insurance plans and related services.
• Process insurance premium payments and cost-sharing assistance.
• Maintain PHI in compliance with HIPAA regulations and Access policies.
• Educate participants on eligibility requirements, benefits, and services.
• Coordinate with providers and funding agencies to ensure timely processing of claims and payments.
