Job summary

Labcorp in Holyoke, MA is seeking a Histotechnologist to join our team on a Monday–Friday night shift (12:00am–8:30am). The role entails processing tissue samples, preparing slides, and performing immunohistochemical tests to support accurate pathology results.

A bachelor’s degree in histology or a related science with 2+ years of histology experience is required. Candidates must demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication, and organizational skills, and be able to work independently

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Histology or a Chemical/Biological science with 2+ years histology experience.

Responsibilities

• Process human tissue and body fluid specimens for microscopic exam.
• Perform immunohistochemical tests on formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections.
• Section embedded tissue using a microtome and mount sections on microscope slides.
• Operate and maintain manual and automated instruments; document maintenance and log data.
• Follow QC procedures and report accurate test results to support patient care.
