Job Summary: Processes and prepares tissue specimens for examination by Mohs surgeons.
Job Duties:
Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. Position Details:
Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. depending on workload.
Travel: to other Mohs labs within the Dermatology service line, up to 50%
Weekends: None
Required: Graduate from Specialty Training Program
Preferred: Certified Histotechnician – American Society for Clinical Pathology preferred upon hire
Preferred Experience: Minimum 1 yr Laboratory

Education: Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Required), Associate's Degree (Preferred)
Experience: Minimum of 1 year-Laboratory (Preferred)
Certification(s) and License(s): Certified Histotechnician - American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
