Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associates degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience.
• HT (ASCP) certification.
• Proficiency with IHC/SS validations and maintenance of equipment.
• Ability to coach others on proper histology technique and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine histology including Immunohistochemistry and Special Stains.
• Embeds and cuts routine and biopsy tissue with proficiency.
• Articulates testing principles, utilizes computer systems, and follows quality control and pre/post-analytical processes.
