Job summary

LCH Lab. Corp. of America Holdings is seeking a Histotechnician at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. The role requires processing human tissue specimens for microscopic examination and the production of histopathological slides.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate’s degree in a relevant field and at least two years of experience. This position also offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience as a Histotechnician.
• Familiarity with routine histology procedures and equipment.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Process human tissue and body fluid specimens for microscopic exams.
• Section embedded tissue using a microtome and mount properly on slides.
• Perform immunohistochemical tests on tissue sections.
