Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Lab experience preferred, especially in histology settings.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tissue specimens for histology and microscopic examination.
• Assist with receipt, accessioning, and labeling of paraffin blocks and slides.
• Verify slide and block match for each case; log cases accurately.
• Perform quality assurance checks on staining and processing procedures.
• Maintain QC/QA records and comply with CLIA guidelines.
• Operate tissue processing equipment including embedding and sectioning.
• Support pathologists with slide review and documentation.
