Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service at the Port Arthur site. You will work as part of the Food & Beverage team, providing food services and information about on-site features and nearby attractions.

The role covers front-of-house duties, handling POS transactions, and serving food and beverages. 38 hours per fortnight, fixed-term, part-time, with duties aligned to safety standards and PAHSMA values.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under supervision and take direction.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and assist others.
• RSA certificate and knowledge of safety requirements.
• Certificate in Hospitality, Retail or Tourism is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service to PAHS visitors.
• Keep food service areas clean and tidy.
• Serve food and beverages using hygienic practices.
• Use POS terminal to conduct transactions.
• Provide table service of food and beverage as required.
• Offer information about activities and facilities at Port Arthur sites.
• Promote PAHSMA values in all contacts with visitors and colleagues.
• Participate in Work Health and Safety processes.
