Job summary

Omni Parker House Hotel in Boston is seeking a Host - Greeter to deliver outstanding guest service, seat guests with a friendly demeanor, and support the restaurant operations. You will maintain standards, manage reservations, and respond to guest requests in a fast-paced luxury setting.

Prior host experience in fine dining and strong English communication are required; Safe food handling certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on food and beverage knowledge and working knowledge of hospitality.
• Preference for host experience in a fine dining restaurant.
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service, friendly demeanor and problem-solving.
• Ability to engage guests at all levels with personalized service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Timely punctuality and good personal hygiene.
• Clear English communication, written and spoken.
• Serve Safe certified | Unexpired TIPs required

Responsibilities

• Maintain service standards and ensure hotel standards compliance.
• Uphold health, safety and sanitation practices; prepare for inspections.
• Answer phones, manage reservations and seating; greet guests.
• Set up and maintain restaurant host space and guest entrance.
• Adhere to proper trash procedures and organization.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and hotel offerings.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings and trainings.
