Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC, is recruiting a Histology Technologist to support the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System in Loma Linda, CA. You will stain slides using routine, immunohistochemical, and special stains, prepare diverse stained slides, and perform delicate tissue testing under stringent quality controls.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and ASCP certification (or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
• ASCP histology certification or equivalent Nationally-recognized histology certification.
• Minimum of one year of histology experience within the last three years (2–3 years in an acute care setting preferred).
• Experience in U.S. Government facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stain slides via routine stains, immunostains, and special stains.
• Prepare a wide variety of special stained slides requiring complex and delicate processes.
• Perform difficult, delicate tissue tests and sectioning with a microtome.
• Label slides for final microscopic examination and maintain records.
