Qualifikationen

• An Associate degree from an accredited educational institution.
• ASCP professional certification or equivalent Nationally-recognized Histology Technician certification.
• A minimum of one year of experience within the last three years is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Process tissues manually or mechanically through fixation, dehydration and infiltration.
• Embed tissues, cuts and do routine staining.
• Perform special stains and procedures when necessary.
• Assist with the processing of cytology specimens.
• Perform other duties as assigned relating to the responsibilities of a Histology Technician.
