Job summary

Qualifications

• Must maintain strong lab safety practices and compliance with procedures.
• Proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Accessioning and clerical duties; prepare tissue for analysis.
• Assist pathologists with tissue cutting and autopsies.
• Prepare slides with routine and special stains; maintain records.
• Ensure proper chemical handling, tissue disposal, and LIS operation.
• Deliver accurate lab reports in a timely manner; perform other duties as assigned.
