HonorHealth in Scottsdale, AZ seeks an Histology Tech II for the LAB Anatomic Pathology department. The role includes embedding, microtomy, staining, and supporting IHC/special stains, working Monday–Friday 5am–1:30pm and ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications include an Associates degree with HT-Histotechnician certification (ASCP) required; HTL certification preferred, and 1 year histology lab experience is required. ASCP certifications are required or preferred as noted.

Formación

• Associates degree required for HT-Histotechnician certification.
• Bachelor's degree required for HTL-Histotechnologist certification (preferred).
• 1 year experience in Histology Laboratory required.
• Histology Technician ASCP certification required.
• Histology Technologist ASCP certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Microtomy and preparing histology slides.
• Assist with daily IHC and special stain workload.
• Embed tissue with correct orientation.
• Perform recuts and additional stains per pathologist request.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and instruments.

Educación

Assists: HT- Histotechnician certification required

HTL-Histotechnologist certification preferred
