Job summary

All Industry Staffing Solutions is seeking a Histology Technician to perform hands-on histology workflows in a fast-paced CRO setting. Under the Histology Lead you will process tissues, embed, section, stain (H&E), and support QC and documentation.

You will balance speed with slide quality, troubleshoot routine issues, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Histotechnology, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Pathology, or related discipline.
• Day 1 proficiency in tissue embedding and microtomy of FFPE blocks.
• Ability to perform tissue grossing and specimen preparation.
• Ability to process at least 20 FFPE blocks per hour with quality.
• Hands-on experience with manual H&E staining and routine troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine histology procedures including embedding, microtomy, and staining; cryosectioning when qualified.
• Prepare high-quality sections from FFPE blocks and frozen tissue when qualified.
• Perform manual H&E staining and support IHC/IF workflows when trained.
• Troubleshoot routine histology issues and escalate to the Histology Lead as needed.
• Maintain accurate sample identification, records, and GLP or quality documentation.
