CellBio Scientific in Union City, CA is seeking a Histology Technician to perform hands-on histology workflows in a fast-paced CRO environment under the Histology Lead. The role covers tissue grossing, embedding, microtomy, H&E staining, and quality control to support tissue-based research and project execution.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years experience, strong bench-level histology skills, precise documentation, and the ability to balance speed with slide quality while troubleshooting routine

Qualificações

• Minimum 5+ years hands-on histology in a CRO environment.
• Proficiency in FFPE tissue processing, embedding, and microtomy.
• Ability to perform manual H&E staining and routine QC.
• Excellent documentation and GLP/compliance awareness.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine histology procedures including embedding and staining.
• Prepare high-quality FFPE sections and, when qualified, frozen tissue.
• Independently perform tissue grossing and specimen prep.
• Operate histology equipment safely and troubleshoot issues.
• Meet productivity standard of at least 20 FFPE blocks per hour.
• Document work and maintain traceability.
• Coordinate with Histology Lead and other teams.
